Thailand

It is a state in South East Asia, in the Indian Ocean, which borders to the south with the Gulf of Thailand and Malaysia, to the east with Cambodia and Laos, to the north-west with Burma and the Andaman Sea. Thailand is an ideal charter destination all year round. Barcando, in Thailand, offers charter destinations that are absolutely new compared to the overcrowded islands of Phuket. These are more authentic places where you can still savor the taste of the truest Thailand, the one not yet invaded and contaminated by tourism. Depending on the season, the reference destination varies, in the fantastic Gulf of Thailand.

  • Koh Chang, from October to April
  • Koh Samui and Ang Thong Marine Park, from May to August
  • Pattaya (Marina Yacht Club), all year round.

The Koh Chang Archipelago:

The Ko Chang archipelago is made up of 52 islands characterized by combining a mild tropical climate with a landscape consisting of long deserted white sand beaches, tropical rainforest, the Koh Chang Marine Park, solitary anchorages and many restaurants along the coast where you can appreciate typical Thai cuisine. The coral reef is within everyone's reach and the abundance of marine life is ideal for those who love diving which can be organized with local operators. In short, in one word, an ideal destination for a magical charter.

Airports:  Trat Provincial Airport (connections via Bangkok International Airport)

The Koh Samui Archipelago:

Koh Samui is ideal for those who want to combine a boat holiday with a luxury location: spas, restaurants, spas and any other service to spoil customers. The Koh Samui cruising area includes over 40 islands such as the Koh Phangan Islands, famous for its edgy full moon parties, and the island of Ko Tao, a global diving destination. Other islands include Ang Thong Marine Park, which rivals the beauty of Phanga Bay, one of the highlights of Phuket's cruising area. In the islands that form the Koh Samui Archipelago, the weather and sailing conditions are constant throughout the season.

A destination characterized by a typically tropical climate. The price variations are due exclusively to tourist demand. Winds during the season range from 15 to 25 knots and the possibility of isolated peaks of rain remains throughout the season.

The climate is predominantly dry and sunny with moderate temperatures ranging between 26 and 32 degrees. Koh Samui is served by its own international airport, so it is an easy destination to reach.

Pattaya:

Pattaya is a lively city best known for its wild nightlife and recreational boating, characterized by islands with long sandy beaches and crystal clear waters. The climate in Pattaya is ideal for sailing all year round, however the location is recommended for short charter periods rather than weekly holidays. The cruise grounds or Pattaya are an easy opportunity for weekend getaways from Bangkok. For longer rentals you can sail to the island of Ko Samet which is located approximately 60 miles to the south-east. Easily accessible from Bangkok airport.
