The British Virgin Islands, a world-wide nautical charter paradise, are an English overseas territory, part of a volcanic archipelago in the Caribbean Sea. There are mainly 4 main islands and numerous smaller islands renowned for their beaches surrounded by coral reefs. The city of Road Town is the capital of the largest island of the archipelago, Tortola, in which we find the Sage Mountain National Park, rich in tropical forests. On Virgin Gorda Island there is The Baths, a labyrinth of enormous granite boulders that sink onto the beach.
The BVI are a fantastic archipelago and include around sixty islands, mostly of volcanic origin and with a hilly profile. The largest is Tortola, followed by Virgin Gorda, Anegana and Jost Van Dyke. Furthermore, they are considered the best place in the world to rent a catamaran or a sailing boat, they offer everything more... such as pristine beaches, beautiful bays to anchor in, thousands of shelters. Excellent restaurants on the beach. Between the islands the sea is always good and the wind constant. The climate is stable. The cities are considered super safe for residents and tourists. The marinas are many and very organised. The paradise of sailing and the sea.
